Hunter Finishes 17th At Five Flags
Sometimes it just isn’t your weekend.
Hunter Robbins entered the Blizzard Series race at Five Flags Speedway (FL) hoping to pull out another victory at the track where he won at back in April. Unfortunately, a loose oil line cost him a chance to get his third victory of the season.

“We had a good car and during the beginning of the race it was pretty good,” said Robbins. “We were working our way up and got to about 10th from our 17th starting position. We came in and got our tires and the crew noticed there was a puddle of oil under the car and they said we were leaking on the track. We lost a few laps under caution getting the oil line tightened. We ended up just driving around logging laps and waiting for others to drop out to make up some positions for the points.”
While the finish wasn’t exactly what he wanted, Robbins kept his head up after the weekend, and now looks towards his next race at a track he has had recent success at.
“We are going to go do the World Classic in Birmingham,” said Robbins. “We were debating it, but we decided it would be a good warm up for ORP.”
The next race for Robbins will be Saturday, September 15th at Birmingham International Raceway (AL) in the “World Classic” event.
