Hunter Robbins Produces Solid Finish in Myrtle Beach Pro Cup Event
Hunter Robbins wasn’t complaining about the 15th-place finish had in his first Pro Cup race at Myrtle Beach Speedway (SC) Saturday night. The Montgomery, Alabama driver started mid-pack and ran up to the top 10 before fuel issues knocked him back a few spots at the finish.

Up next for Robbins will be the Blizzard Series Super Late Model event at Five Flags Speedway (FL) on June 27th.
“We didn’t have a great qualifying effort; we figured we would have a better run during the race,” said Robbins. “By virtue of where we started we lost a lap early on. The long green flag run did not help us at all. We lost two laps and we got them both back and we had moved into the top ten when we ran out of gas. I don’t want to say we miscalculated, but perhaps the long green flag run did us in. It just happened at the wrong time right after the pit entrance.”
Robbins didn’t get discouraged after seeing a top-10 finish disappear. He knows his team is capable of producing good cars.
“We have been in the top five and top ten each race we have been at,” said Robbins. “We are missing that one little thing that’s going to bring it all together. We just have to figure out how to put
