Robbins Hunting for Kenly Win
Hooters Pro Cup Series rookie Hunter Robbins, who is currently 11th in the Southern Division standings, is preparing to tackle Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, North Carolina on Saturday, July 19th.  Not only is he a rookie in the Pro Cup Series, but he will also be a rookie at the track.
“I haven’t run at Kenly before.  I have heard a lot about it,” said Robbins.  “Everybody says it’s a real fast track and it’s real fun.  I’m looking forward to it.  We’ve made some changes with our team and all and we’re all really excited to go.  I have raced a few tracks that are a lot like it so hopefully I will fit right in.”

Along with Robbins’s excitement come the hopes of a good finish, which would not only boost his standings in the over-all southern title chase, but also raise his chances at reaching his goal of “Rookie of the Year.”

“We are just hoping to come away with a good top five.  We could settle for a top ten, but we are really looking for a top five to boost our team back up and to boost me up.  We are still in the chase for the “Rookie of the Year.”  That’s our main goal right now for the southern series so that’s what we are going after.”
