Hunter Robbins was born with a passion for racing.

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Hunter began his race career at the age of six racing Go-Karts around the state. He won his first track championship against competitors twice his age, and at the age of eight he moved from Go-Karts to Bandolero racing.
During the 2003 racing season, Hunter won the Bandolero Bandits National Championship. During this time, as the only competitor from Alabama competing nationally, he raced in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. Showing his diversity and adaptability to different racing facilities, Hunter finished second in points at Atlanta Motor Speedway (GA) in Thursday Thunder and ninth at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (NC) in the Summer Shootout. In total, the 2003 season saw Hunter in victory lane 20 times with over 40 top fives.
In January 2004, Hunter moved up to Late Model Racing as one of the youngest drivers to take the wheel of the bigger cars. In his first year in Late Models he won the “Alabama 250” at Montgomery Motor Speedway (AL) at the young age of 13.
Hunter’s biggest win of his career occurred in the 2005 racing season when he won the “Snowflake 100” at the age of 14 during the famous Snowball Derby weekend, beating some of the best Late Model drivers in the country.
In 2006 Hunter raced late models in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. In October he won the “Neil Bonnett Memorial” at Birmingham International Raceway (AL). Hunter also became the youngest driver ever to start in the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway (FL).
The beginning of the 2007 season saw the 15-year-old driver take to the track in multiple race cars, including Late Model Stock Cars and Super Late Models in such series as the ASA Late Models, Georgia Asphalt Series, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South, CRA Super Series, Blizzard Series and the VIPER Series. With two wins under his belt by the halfway point in the season, the 16-year old driver continued to impress his competition, fans and teams with his skill, patience and talent behind the wheel.
In 2008, Robbins joined forces with Goodson Racing and competed in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, Southern Division, winning Rookie of the Year Honors. Robbins also joined an elite class, including Joey Logano, Brian Vickers, and Trevor Bayne, by winning his first Pro Cup race at Hickory Motor Speedway before age 17.
In 2009, Hunter continued to race select Super and Pro Late Model events including the Blizzard Series and Show Me the Money Series. Robbins stats included a Win, 8 Top Fives, and 14 Top Tens.
Last season was a rebuilding year for Robbins and his family, and Robbins was limited to racing Pro Late Model events around the Southeast. Robbins finished the season with 3 Poles, including the Snowflake 100, and a Win in the Show Me the Money Series at Montgomery Motor Speedway. Robbins also began his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University. In 2011, Robbins will be competing in numerous Pro Late Model events around the Southeast.
